1. Working Principle Of Tire Pressure Monitoring System

When the car is driving at high speed, tire failure is the most worrying and difficult to prevent, and it is also an important cause of sudden accidents. With the advancement of technology, the rv tire monitoring system came into being. Automobile tire pressure monitoring system is a safety early warning system for real-time monitoring of tire pressure and temperature, which can eliminate safety hazards such as tire puncture. When the car is assembled and produced in the factory, the tpms external sensors in the tires are in the sleep mode. It is necessary to use special equipment to use low-frequency signals to trigger the sensor to complete the communication matching between the sensor and the vehicle control module BCM. In the mass production process of automobiles, production cycle and mobility are important indicators of the factory, and the matching efficiency and reliability of tire pressure sensors are important items to improve production efficiency.


The working principle of the tpms tyre pressure monitoring system is to install a built-in tpms sensor at the valve core of the tire. The built-in sensor contains a sensor that senses air pressure and a sensor that senses temperature. The pressure signal and temperature signal are converted into electrical signals, and then send the signal through the wireless transmitter. The basic theory of the signal emission is the magnetic effect of Maxwell current: through a specific frequency (usually 315 MHz, 443.92 MHz, 868 MHz), using FSK or ASK modulation method, adding a specific coding method, the various signals (pressure, temperature, ID number, remaining power, etc.) are passed to the body controller, and then the tire pressure information is displayed on the display.

2. Analysis Of Matching Equipment For Tire Pressure Monitoring System

 

1) Basic Principles Of Equipment

The equipment uses low-frequency wireless electromagnetic waves to trigger the sensor, and receives the high-frequency signal fed back by the sensor, and writes the ID and identification number of each tire sensor into the body control unit (BCM) through the OBD harness. Thus, the communication matching between the tpms tire sensor and the body control unit (BCM) is realized.


Low-frequency wake-up positioning technology uses the near-field effect of low-frequency (LF) signals (125 kHz). The system can send out the LF signal through the LF antenna near the corresponding tire, separately trigger the emission detection module of the corresponding tire, and then the best tpms sensor transmits the identification code through high frequency (RF), and the receiving module obtains the corresponding ID and tire pressure and other information through the high frequency (RF) signal, writing it into the body controller ECU through the vehicle OBD port.Then 4 silverado tpms sensors are completed in order.


The trigger distance of the low-frequency (LF) signal 125 kHz is 0 ~ 1.2 m. The transmission distance of high-frequency (RF) feedback signal 433.92 MHz can reach 20 m.
