Tire pressure refers to the pressure of the air inside the tire. Air pressure is the life gate of a tire. Too high and too low tire pressure will shorten the service life of the tire. So how much is the normal tire pressure?
According to the Regulation and Requirements of International Standards
Standard tire: 2.4-2.5bar
Enhanced tire: 2.8-2.9bar
Maximum pressure: no more than 3.5bar
Other Factors that Need to be Considered
a. Winter: Appropriately increase the pressure by 0.2 bar based on the standard automobile tire pressure.
b. Summer: According to the standard tire pressure lower limit.
The car is parked in the open air in summer, and the air pressure can generally be about 0.1 bar lower than the standard to avoid high temperature puncture.
a. No-load/half load: According to the standard tire pressure lower limit (the tire pressure on the vehicle marking sticker can be used as the reference value of minimum tire pressure).
b. Full load: According to the standard tire pressure upper limit (the maximum tire pressure value on the tire mark can be used as a reference for the theoretical maximum tire pressure).
a. Hot tires: The tire pressure of the cold tire is not the same as that of the hot tire. The difference between the two is about 0.3 bar.
b. Cold tires: Measure the tire pressure at least three hours after parking or the distance should not exceed 2 kilometers. If the tire pressure can only be measured at the hot tire, the measured tire pressure value minus approximately 0.2 bar is the tire cooling inflation pressure.
a. The tire pressure should be adjusted to 0.1-0.2 bar lower than the standard tire pressure in the larger bump road surface.
b. If the bump is small, it can be ignored, do not care.
c. The tire pressure can not be too low when the automobile is run on long-distance high-speed road , properly adjust the tire pressure to 0.2bar higher than the standard tire pressure lower limit.
a. New tires: The tire pressure can be increased by about 0.2 bar higher than the standard tire pressure.
b. Old tires: Properly adjust the tire pressure lower than the standard tire pressure, if the wear is serious, adjust it according to the standard tire pressure lower limit.
c. Soft tires: It refers to tires with a comfortable pattern. Adjust the pressure to about 0.2 bar higher than the standard tire pressure.
e. Hard tires: It refers to the control pattern tire, adjust it according to the standard tire pressure lower limit.
f. Differences between tires of various brands: The tire pressure standard usually refers to the pressure of the original tire. If you change the tire, you need to know differences between brands.
Since the spare tire is not commonly used, the tire pressure is preferably higher, so as to avoid the emergency effect due to the low tire pressure. Generally, it should be higher than 2.5bar. Adjust to the appropriate tire pressure when in use, and then inflate to high tire pressure after use.
In order to ensure that the automobile is in normal tire pressure, you can check the tire pressure by the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) regularly.
