How to Release the Tire Pressure Monitoring Light?

The tire pressure monitor system is a wireless transmission technology that uses high-sensitivity micro wireless sensor devices fixed in the tires of a car to collect data such as pressure and temperature of the automobile tires while driving or stationary, and transmits the data to the cab. If the tire pressure detection light is on during driving, it may be caused by the following conditions. 

The tire pressure monitoring light caused by the tire being tied

This is usually a slow leak and you can't find out which tires are right. However, you can use the tire pressure gauge to measure, the front wheel is 2.3, the rear wheel is 2.5, if the gas is leaking, then observe the tire pressure warning light after car tire inflation. If lights up in a few days, it may be necessary to check the tire. 4S shop maintenance staff usually adjust the two front tire pressures to 2.3, the rear tire pressure to 2.4, then cut off the tire pressure alarm, and let us drive for another 3 or 4 days to see the situation. If there is no more alarm, there will be no problem. If the alarm is still on, it may be that the tires are tied. You need to go to the 4S shop again and let profession check again. 

Tire pressure monitoring light indicates that the tire pressure is too high

Generally, the international GBT 2978-2008 standard stipulates that the car tire inflation pressure meets the requirements of Table 1 - Table 15 as follows.

Standard tires: 2.4-2.5 bar. Reinforced tires: 2.8-2.9 bar, maximum air pressure: It should not be greater than 3.5 bar. So when there are more than 3.0bar tires, the tire pressure monitoring light will be triggered.

This situation usually occurs when the tire pressure of a certain tire is too low, and the high temperature operation causes the tire temperature to rise, and the tire pressure is increased. In this case, the parking tire should be stopped or replaced.

When the air pressure is lower than 1.8, the tire pressure monitoring light is on, so it should be checked to see if the tire pressure detector is normal. In the case of a car, if the tire pressure monitor does not promptly report the alarm, there is a problem with the tire pressure monitor. If the ignition switch is ON/START, the indicator light and the TPMS indicator will be on for 2 s and then off. In this case, either the original receiver of the vehicle is not learning to bind, or the receiving controller has been replaced, and the receiving controller is not learning binding. You can go to the 4S shop and ask the professionals to use the handheld learning tool to re-acquire all the tire sensor IDs and bind the receiving controller.

Caveat

If the tire pressure monitor system warning light is on during driving, please keep calm, do not panic, reduce the speed and avoid driving the steering wheel and sudden braking immediately, then check the tires. 

If you have your own simple inflatable, you can drive to the side of the road and measure and inflate each tire. If you don't have one, you can drive slowly and find the nearest server or car repair shop or 4s shop. 

If no tires are found to have significant air leaks, each tire can be inflated where it can be inflated. Waiting for the next day or a longer time to see if there will be an alarm. If there is an alarm again, it means that there are tires tied to the nails. It is very simple to fix the tires. Generally, it costs about 15 yuan. After finishing it, the alarm light will not disappear directly. You can press the set button longly until it disappears.
