In a strict sense, tire pressure refers to the air pressure inside the tire. The tire pressure is closely related to the automobile performance, such as comfort and carrying capacity, and it also affects the life of the tire.

Air pressure is of vital importance to a tire. Too high or too low pressure will shorten the service life of the tire. If the air pressure is too low, the carcass deformation will increase, the sidewall will be prone to cracks, and at the same time, the flexing motion will cause excessive heating, which will cause the rubber to age, the ply fatigue and the cord to break. It will also causes the tire grounding area increasing, and the tire wear will be accelerated. If the air pressure is too high, the tire cord will be excessively stretched and deformed, and the elasticity of the carcass will decrease, which will increase the load on the car during driving. Imagine if the tires are made of rigid or solid elastic tires, the comfort level will definitely be greatly reduced. Every time the season changes, you should pay attention to adjusting the tire pressure. The ideal adjustment time is in November and May. In November, it basically enters the winter. The tire pressure is usually reduced. You should adjust it slightly. The weather began to heat up in May. It is recommended to check whether the air pressure is normal. In particular, please note that as long as the tire pressure is not higher than the standard range, do not deliberately reduce the tire pressure. If the tire is not short of air, there is no need to adjust every month.
